Henry's. An East
Side Tradition.
A constant fixture in the Murray Hill neighborhood of Milwaukee's East Side, Henry's first opened in 1982 as a part of the Coffee Trader, the first coffee shop in Milwaukee to feature an espresso machine.
Although it's no longer in use, that espresso machine resides in the back bar room of Henry's to this day. Originally, Henry's was located on Downer Avenue in what is now home to Belair Cantina. In 1998, the Coffee Trader closed, but the gem that was Henry's remained open. At that time, Henry's was moved to its current location on Belleview Place. Today, you can relive some of the remnants of Henry's storied past by enjoying several menu items that originated from the Coffee Trader days, or by simply playing a game of backgammon or cribbage, or challenging the bartender to a game of dice.
